Data Deletion Request
Aura Diary — Aura Hub
We respect your right to have your personal data permanently deleted. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data using any of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete from within the app (Instant)
This is the fastest way. The deletion is immediate and irreversible.
- Open Aura Diary
- Go to Profile → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Type
DELETEto confirm - Tap Delete permanently
What gets deleted immediately:
- Your Supabase Auth account (login credentials)
- All journal entries stored in the cloud
- All mood data, tags, and settings
- All audio recordings stored in cloud storage
- Your subscription record
- Your AI usage history
- Your friends list and challenge history
- All encrypted data keys (making any cached data permanently unreadable)
What gets deleted from your device:
- All locally stored entries, audio, and app data are wiped on sign-out
Option 2: Email request
If you no longer have access to the app or your account, email us:
Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Include:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your request to permanently delete all data
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email when complete.

Notes
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore your data after deletion.
- Local data: deleting your account does not automatically remove locally cached data from your device. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
- Active subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel your App Store or Play Store subscription. Cancel your subscription separately in your App Store / Play Store account settings before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
- Payment records: transaction records held by Apple, Google, or Paystack are subject to their own retention policies and are outside our control.
